Heritage Week Update
Heritage Week has become an important, annual tradition for the Clovis Elementary community. During the week leading up to Thanksgiving, the Jaguars dedicate time to celebrating who they are and where they come from. A team of teachers prepare lessons and learning opportunities for students to experience culturally relevant curriculum and resources. Another important piece built into the week is learning about gratitude through the Positivity Project. As an act of gratitude, students donate non-perishable food items which demonstrates #positivityinaction.
